The Village Cabinets Story
Village Cabinets, a Division of Artisan Cabinet Inc., is a custom cabinetry
company specializing in the design, construction and installation of residential kitchens, bathrooms, entertainment spaces, closet/storage areas and special spaces.
As a family-owned and operated company, Village Cabinets / Artisan Cabinet Inc. has a long, rich history of quality and service to thousands of customers in Connecticut and the surrounding region. In fact we have successfully completed nearly 25,000 projects. Our reputation is built on the driving principles of our mission:
To manufacture high quality, totally custom cabinetry, countertops and doors for reasonable prices to a diversified market customer base by reinforcing teamwork, service and craftsmanship.

We continue to follow our founding formula for success today by promising and delivering this to every Village Cabinets / Artisan Cabinet customer.
2023 marks our 52nd year of successful operations for Village Cabinets, a division of Artisan Cabinet Inc. Founded in 1971 in a two-bay garage in Plainville , Connecticut, Village Cabinets' first shop employed only two workers who mainly used hand tools. We have grown each year since we opened our doors for business. Today we employ over 25 people in a 42,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility. We use the best technology and equipment in woodworking including: computer aided routers and table saws.
In addition to our cabinetry, we've grown our laminate countertop shop into an modern facility offering four brands of laminate including Formica® and seven brands of solid surface materials including Corian®. We work with several granite fabricators to offer our clients beautiful granite, marble and quartz options as well.
Village Cabinets employs several teams of installers who ensure that your installation goes smoothly. Each member of our installation group is an experienced woodworker who takes great pride in his work. That means that from design, to construction, to installation you can be confident that the finished results of a Village Cabinet /Artisan Cabinet project will be extraordinary!
